Move the case card to the correct status and add the trap number, camera number, kit number, placement location, and next action.

2. Confirm Owner Instructions

Make sure the owner understands the plan: do not chase, do not move equipment, keep the area quiet, and report any sighting or camera hit immediately.

3. Set the Next Action

Before leaving the case, confirm what happens next: monitor camera, adjust trap, schedule follow-up, thermal scan, equipment pickup, or Jay review.
