The Thermal Drone Search Add-On is an optional upgrade that can be added to an active KC Pet Search & Rescue cat recovery package when a larger outdoor area needs to be scanned from above.

Using an enterprise thermal drone, KC Pet Search & Rescue can help check areas that may be difficult, unsafe, or time-consuming to search on foot, including fields, wooded edges, drainage areas, open lots, brush lines, outbuildings, large yards, and nearby property lines.

This add-on is best used when a missing cat may have moved beyond the immediate escape point, when sightings suggest the cat is using a wider area, or when surrounding terrain creates hiding zones that are hard to clear from the ground.

Thermal drone search may help detect heat signatures that are not visible with a flashlight or the naked eye. When conditions are right, it can help identify possible animal locations, travel areas, or search zones that support the next step in the recovery strategy.

This service does not guarantee a confirmed visual identification of the missing cat. Thermal results depend on weather, cover, terrain, distance, animal size, timing, and how exposed the heat signature is. The purpose of this add-on is to gather better search information, narrow the search area, and support a smarter recovery plan.
