Full Package – Standard Service Rate

This package combines owner-assisted humane cat trapping with a thermal drone flight over the surrounding search area.

The trapping portion provides humane trap deployment, strategic baiting, cellular trail camera monitoring, and owner-guided recovery strategy for the active recovery period. KC Pet Search & Rescue guides the setup, reviews camera activity, and adjusts the trapping plan as new information arrives.

The thermal drone flight uses an enterprise thermal drone to scan areas that are difficult, unsafe, or slow to search on foot, including fields, wooded edges, drainage areas, open lots, brush lines, outbuildings, large yards, and nearby property lines. Aerial thermal work is most useful when a missing cat may have moved beyond the immediate escape point or when sightings suggest the cat is using a wider area.

This package is best for larger properties, open or wooded surroundings, multiple sighting locations, or cases where both close-range trapping and wide-area aerial scanning are worth running together.

Thermal drone results are condition-dependent. Weather, temperature, cover, terrain, access, distance, animal movement, and whether the cat’s heat signature is exposed all affect what a flight can detect. Trapping success depends on the cat’s behavior, food motivation, location, safety, timing, and owner participation. Recovery outcomes cannot be guaranteed.
